Post Entry Three, Summary of 'Emma"

Jane Austen was born in 1775 and has writen a lot about failing in love but she never maried. Emma is one of her novel which love and marriagr are a major focus and mostly is concentrated in pride and prejudice. In spite of this, I really enjoyed it. Emma is a 21 year old daughter of a rich family. She is warm, beautiful and clever. Emma's hobby is match making between her friends but she makes alot of mistakes. Harriet Smith is one of her projects who has no family and no money and Robert Martin who loves her is a good match for her. But Emma changes her viewpoint to ideas of high society. Only Mr Knightly stands up to Emma and tells her what he thinks. The ending is predictable. Emma and Mr Knightly married together and Robert Martin told Harriet he still loved her and she agreed to marry him.

Text Blog Post Entry Seven, an article about my country in an international press

Here is a link to an article which I choose from the independent UK, covering visiting Natanz and sign a confirmation which Iran is producing the nuclear fuel.
It is important to me because I think Iran is certainly in the right of having the nuclear fuel.My country has been through of a forced war for 8 years and now it should be protected against possible attacks.Furthermore this month President Mahmoud Ahmadi Nejad , you can see him in the top picture, said "the west should known that the Iranian nation will defend its right and that this patch is irreversible." . This confirmation says, Iran has begun enriching small amounts of uranium in to 1300 centrifuges which can produce nuclear fuel for energy or a bomb.According to this article Israel's ambassador to the United States says world power must act because Tehran is going "full speed" and will be abl to produce a bomb, but so far there is no evidence that Iran's nuclear material is at the level of producing a weapon and Iran claims that wants to enrich only to lower level.

Text Blog Post Entry Eight, Diploma Trip

I am going to write my memories of Unitec trip from last semester when we went to b Pt Chevalier beach , because I could not join diploma trip on 1/May/07. Pt Chevalier beach is closer than other beaches to Unitec and because of that Unitec arranges trips there at the end of the Winter semesters.

I remember well. It was the end of last semester, some students went there by Unitec's shuttles but my friend and I decided to join them in the own car. I would like to thank Mahboobeh and her hausband for picking us up. we arrived about 12 o'clock and stayed there for nearly 3 hours which went quickly, because we were all happy outside with a nice group on a sunny day.

First of all we shared our lunches which were all delicious. Unitec's staff also shared their dainty barbecued sausages with us and I am very appreciative of this, because they semmed to have put in alot of work. After lunch some of the guys played football which they enjoyed alot. We also were divided in two groups, one side was contained all women and the other side all men and played tug of war. Don't make me say who won because I'm sure you can guess.

Then we enjoyed a cup of tea which I had brought and a friendly chat with our nice teacher, Chris King, who you can see in the photo of us above. He is standing behind me the middle of the photo. As usuall he made memorable times in our minds. Its seemes as if it were yesterday, Chris was talking to us as a real friend not just a teacher and we were jocking alot.
Hopefully you had an enjoyable and a memorable trip too.

Text Blog Post Entry Five, My Break

I did not have a very exciting break. I stayed in Auckland with my family and spent most of my time with my 3 year old daughter to give her a good time.I took her 3 times to Waitakere swimming pool and we went several times to the park and shopping. Also it was my nice's 8th birthday on 15 of April. My sister had arranged a big party in a hall and we really enjoyed it. I needed a car but I did not have enough time to look for a suitable one.Fortunately I managed to buy a nice car in my break Also I had a lot of homework to catch up on and my daughter needed a bigger bed. I had to spend all my time to manage them . Fortunately the break was a good time for me to deal with them.

Text Blog Entry Four, narrative article

I choose this article , because I found the assualt which the man made on his former partner, too cruelly and knowing how he is going to be punished is very important to me. This report is about a 28 year old man who is accused of murdering Mrs Moana following a wild beating. They had six joint children but lived separately.According to this report Mr Kengike after beating Mrs Moana left an apologizing note behind her and then walked in to town. She was found by her relatives one day later but unfortunately the doctores enforced to turn off her life support after four days beacause of her irreversible brain damage.
There are diffrent verb forms in this text.Mostly simple past because the article reports an action about the past like (returened, walked, took, argued, didn't say ). As you can see ther are examples of simple present (love, resumes),present perfect(has heared), past perfect (had been, had invited, had given ,had left), past countinues (was living, were sleeping ), past passive (was found, were witnessed ), past perfect passive (had been tied, had been placed) and there is just one modal verb (could be).

Post Entry Two, About Me

Hi everyone
My name is Akram.I am going to write briefly about my life.I was
born in 1976 and I grew up in Tehran which is the capital city of Iran.I came to New Zealand just to join my family 2 years ago. You can see my hausband and my 3 years old daughter in the photo of me above. I like New Zealand because people are really friendly and all my family live here. I would like to improve my English first and then hopefully take a course in Interior design. My interests are walking, swimming and cooking. If you click in this link you can see a nice photo of Valiasr Rd which is situated in Tehran.I like that because of its beautiful trees. There are too many trees in the both sides of the road and they join together at the top.
